This topic describes the commands in the bookmarks menu.
|
Tiny Hexer supports two kinds of bookmarks:
Per-File-Bookmarks are explained in the keyboard section of the editor window topic.
|
All-Files-Bookmarks apply to all open editor windows. They store the current selection and whether the cursor is located in the hex or character pane. These bookmarks can have descriptive names. Bookmarks appear at the bottom of the bookmarks menu.
When editing disk sectors, a bookmark does not store the current caret position but the absolute position on disk the caret is pointing to.
